Are you tired of having trouble with your fence posts that are in irrigation areas, along creek banks, going across dams, and the rest of those pesky areas that are very saturated with water? Tired of having to replace posts in those areas time and time again, knowing it is costing you money? Well, we have a solution for you!
Running Enterprise is now offering a fence post that is meant for wetland areas. These fence posts are made out of an industrial-strength fiberglass that will not fray or cause those miserable slivers that traditional fiberglass posts do. They are meant to withstand thousands of pounds of pressure.
The posts measure about 2½ inches outside diameter and can be cut in any length you desire. Standard length is 6½ feet. These posts are made from recycled fiberglass pipe; therefore, posts are sold on an as-is basis. They are, however, examined for quality on site at our location.
Our posts should prove to be what you have always desired where you have trouble with wood posts rotting off so fast, or where steel posts rust away so fast. They are meant to be used in a wetlands or riparian environment, although you can use them anywhere you desire. They have not yet been tested in an alkaline area.
These posts are so tough that you can drive over them in a pickup truck and not damage them. They resemble a wood post and are very eye appealing in a fence line.
We attach the wire to the post with plumbers tape and a self-tapping screw. This works best because it is low cost and very stable, while allowing the wire to move freely as heat and cold cause it to expand and contract.
